KATRINA DAVIS

is a fun-loving comic with a dark, but ultimately freeing and funny take on the world. Baltimore-born and Florida-raised, her comedy covers everything from heartbreak and hurricane preparation, to fist-fighting for the fine arts.

The host of the podcast and Fireside live show, The Best Friends Show, Katrina was highlighted in WhoHaHa’s Comedy Call Out Fall 2020 and was also named one of Time Out LA’s Comedians to Watch 2019. She has been seen on America’s Got Talent (2017) and performs stand-up all over Los Angeles. You can see her featured on the Seed & Spark comedy special Everything Is Fine, the comedy YouTube series Booked and Fact Check on Amazon Prime YouTube. In June 2021, she taped her upcoming comedy special with Comedy Dynamics.


COVID Information

Safety at The Comic Is Present is being taken seriously. After careful consideration and communication with the venue, we have implemented the following measures to promote the health and wellbeing of attendees and staff:

In accordance with California guidelines, you will need either a COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID-19 test result to attend The Comic Is Present in 2022. You do not need to bring your actual vaccination card, you can bring a photo instead. For guests who are not vaccinated, a negative COVID-19 test result must be obtained within 72 hours (3 days) of attending The Comic Is Present. If you are not feeling well, please refrain from attending the show. 

As the situation evolves, so will our approach to keeping you safe. We thank you for your patience and flexibility as we manage this and ask that you check back here for updates.  

Guidance from the CDC to help prevent the spread of COVID-19:

  • Wear a mask to protect yourself and others 

  • Clean your hands often, either with soap and water for 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick

  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.

  • Monitor your health daily
